My Cat Is Not Nearly As Caring As My Dog Was

I called in sick at 1 am last night and left a voicemail message. There's no way I could go to work when I felt the way I did last night. Sure, I'm glad I'm not working on the shitty boat, but I think this sickness is taking a toll on my mental state.

I tried to desperately eat something today and couldn't, or I lost my appetite while eating, or the food hurt my stomach. I gave up on eating. The only thing that doesn't hurt my stomach is hot water.

I thought that if I was going to make it for tomorrow's work shift, I would have to take some sort of drug to get rid of this pain. I took a look at the Tylenol pills and man, they are huge. How people can swallow such big pills is a wonder. It took me 3 tries, 2 cries, 15 minutes, and almost choking on the pill on my last attempt before it went down. How embarrassing/frustrating.

The pain is bearable most of the time. It's like a dull uncomfortableness in your stomach around your belly button. It's those certain times when the pain intensifies and becomes stabbingly sharp and strong that makes it hard to deal with. It almost feels like there's a hole in my stomach or large intestines. As I've said, this pain usually comes from food, or the use of too much energy, and sometimes it just hurts for no reason. If anyone knows how to get rid of this thing, please let me know.
