CALIFORNIAAAAA@!!!1!!3111!!!!
Yeeeah, I know. It's been a long time since I blogged. I haven't been keeping my promise like a bad mother. Let me tell you something, son: I've been working my ass off over the past two weeks. I worked 100 hours and got paid under $1000 ... bastards.
I'm really hating my job now. I'm just sick of the company and its ways, especially getting paid too little for the shit that the employees do. I'm just really, really happy that I have a little over a week left before I leave them forever.
On the up side, CALIFORNIA HOLY SHIT! It's almost time for the most awesomely stupendous trip ever! I'm so excited that I want to pack now. My friend and I leave on September 12th for San Francisco to meet up with the awesome Miss Diaboli. Our first night, we have a baseball game to go to - Giants vs. Diamondbacks. It will be my first baseball game ever. It'll be good times. We leave SF on the 17th in a subcompact rented car (oooh aaah) to Los Angeles. We'll be taking the scenic route down and stopping at places along the way, which will eventually equate to an 8 or 9-hour drive. In LA, there's an Academy Is concert that my friend wants to go to on the 20th at the Wiltern. I don't listen to them, but it'll be fun pointing and laughing at the scene kids. We'll head down to San Diego on the 21st. Our whole trip was planned around attending the Street Scene Festival, being held on September 22-23. It'll be great to see the Killers and Muse headline. A few days of shopping/attractions/fun and we head home on the 26th. This is the vacation I've dreamed of for a long time.
My mom wants to go to Hong Kong in October. Of course, I wouldn't object to going with her. I hadn't been back to see family in 9 years. (My mom always told me that I couldn't miss school.) I don't know how long we would be gone. It could be 2 months, it could be 4 months. My mom is being adventurous this time and wants to go travelling to Thailand and other surrounding places. I'm pretty excited about that. It's more of a once-in-a-lifetime thing, whereas I know I will be returning to San Francisco sometime in the future to perhaps start up a crazy internet business with Diaboli, or marry her to get multiple citizenship (haha).
I'm crazy excited for the next few months. It's the sort of freedom I haven't felt in a long time. It's exactly what I need before I look for a new and, hopefully, better job.
