So I Moved Into Residence Today

Apart from the fact that it's the very last room at the end of the hallway, and that there's quite a bit of distance between my room and the washroom, I quite like my room. It is roomy.

The Residence Council arranged for a barbeque and some games to get to know each other. That was fun.

I haven't made any friends yet. And I didn't meet anyone from my program. But it's only the first day.

The next couple of days will be filled with Frosh Week activities. I probably won't participate, but I will watch. On Tuesday, I'll have to pick up the rest of the stuff I left at the hotel. Wednesday, I have to check out my mom and aunt, and they will be flying home that afternoon. I will be on my own.

The best part of residence? The cafeteria closes at 6 pm. Yah.

Side note from today: We ate at Reggie's for lunch. The diner has been in Saint John for 35 years, and rightly so. The food is awesome and the prices are extremely reasonable. If you're looking for a good greasy spoon, all day breakfast place, Reggie's is the place to go. They call your name to pick up your food, like at Starbucks. Except it's better than Starbucks.
