100th Post
Hells yes. I've been blabbing for 100 posts, whether you like it or not.
Tonight was First Class Bash. I just got back a few minutes ago. At first I wasn't going to go since I'm not the partying sort. But a classmate (aka party girl) kind of, sort of made me. I got a buddy to come with me so I wasn't alone. I'm glad I went. It was pretty fun. I haven't let loose in a long time.
My thoughts on some things about the bash:
1. The bartenders are lame. They were too slow and didn't know how to take control of the crowd. The bartender I waited for seemed flustered, which I would be too, but I would tell people to start lining up or they wouldn't get their drinks. I guess that's a down side to being too chill here? I had one drink before the most of the crowd arrived, and one shot during the dance-a-thon. Now that's a cruddy service.
2. People here don't grind as much as the clubbing crowd in Toronto. I like that. Sure, there are the couples. But they do their own thing.
3. However, I was grind-attempted by some dude with a hard on. I know this because his hands were at my hips. That was so not cool. And there was this other (much older) dude that my party girl friend introduced me to dance with. (I don't like when people do that). He kind of felt me up in a caressing kind of way. He kept trying to do the back-to-back dancing thing where his hands were caressing my ass. Not grabbing, just caressing. It was weird. I did divert both of them, luckily.
4. I definitely need alcohol in my system when I go dance. Al-key-hall helps me loosen up. However, even though I wasn't even remotely buzzed, I loosened up as much as I could. Hell, if anything happened, I live here.
5. The girls here like Katy Perry. They went wild for "I Kissed A Girl." And this was before the major dance crowd.
6. I forgot my driver's licence when I went in. Next time, I must remember so I don't have to run back to my room to get it.
And that was my night. The end.
