Alone

It's been raining like a motherbitch today. Very gloomy. I guess it's sort of fitting. My mom and aunt are going home today. At the moment, they should be at the airport waiting the long wait until their 6:45 pm flight back to Toronto. I'm in my room, tired from standing in the rain for the bus.

I spent the last 2 days with my mom and aunt. Nothing special. We pretty much walked all around Saint John (again) buying some stuff for me to microwave food with, so that I can eat after the cafeteria closes at 6 pm. Yup. Spoons, a fork, and a microwaveable plastic container. Plus some liquid dish soap from the dollar store.

I guess the most exciting thing was that I stole 3 face towels from the Delta because we had so many extras in the bathroom. They wouldn't even know that they've been taken. Also, there was a major used book sale at the Brunswick Square, in which the proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters. I finally got some books to read when I'm bored. I bought 4 books for uber cheap: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, The Tudor and Stuarts by M. M. Reese (a history book. Nerdy? Yes), Heidi by Johanna Spyri (a classic children's novel), and Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.

Today was spent eating at Cora's (their fruit smoothies are extremely awesome), waiting and walking, walking and waiting, wasting time, watching the flocks of cruise ship passengers from 3 cruise ships fill the Uptown area, and then waiting and missing the bus to the airport. My mom and aunt ended up taking the taxi there. And I came back to residence. The end.
