Greetings from Los Angeles!

The long trek from San Francisco to Los Angeles is really exhausting. I didn't really think it would be.

Angie and I took a shuttle to the airport. We got to the car rental centre via the airport monorail system thing and registered. We got an upgrade from the subcompact (Hyundai Accent) to an economy (Toyota Corolla). Big score. Plus, the colour of the car is uber awesome.

We left the airport lot about 11:45 am and took the 92 to get to the Pacific Coast Highway (the 1) so we can get the gorgeous view of the coast and the Pacific Ocean. Angie took almost all the pictures since I was driving. Angie drove for about 2 hours but don't tell anyone - no one's supposed to know. The drive was super windy; the roads were super curvy, but it was a fun drive. It's definitely recommended for those who want to experience Southern California.

We stopped by a minimal amount of places - Santa Cruz to get a little something to eat and a washroom break at McDonalds, a mini secluded beach by Big Sur, and Cambria to fill up the tank.

We got to Los Angeles around 10 pm. I've got to say that L.A. streets are much like Toronto streets, though they are much smaller and crowded. These are streets I don't want to or particularly like to drive on.

The hotel was a bit hard to find but we did it. The first thing we did was order 2 medium pizzas. We hadn't had real food today so it was a treat. And now we're exhausted. Sleep time for sure.

Again, these are in no particular order.
