San Francisco Day 5
Katy's sister is bed ridden and she has to stay with her. I'm sad. We won't be seeing her before we leave for Los Angeles in the morning. Meanwhile, Angie and I planned ahead and decided to see the Golden Gate Bridge and ride the trolley today. We found a brochure for a tour of San Francisco for a reasonable price.
We got ready and checked out at Greenwich Inn, walked down the street to the Super 8 with our bags and checked in. We ate at Johnny Rockets for lunch. Then, we took the bus to the Golden Gate Bridge, walked a bit of it before returning downtown to take the Powell & Mason Sts trolley up to the wharf area where we jumped on a fake trolley for a 2-hour tour. The tour was mainly to get us up to speed of the things that we missed since it was our last day in the city. We ended the day by having dinner at Hooter's. It was my first time and most likely my only time I'll set foot in a Hooter's.
Tomorrow, we head to the airport with our luggages on an airport shuttle to pick up the car. Then the 8+ hour drive down the coast to crazy L.A. I hope everything goes well. It'll be fun.
We took tons of pictures today - about 300. I didn't bother putting them in relative order because there's so many. Do take your time.
