Home, Sweet Home
While we were waiting for the shuttle to pick us up, some other shuttle company that was waiting at our hotel tried to haggle me for their service. It was pretty weird.
We got to the airport quite early. Took our time checking in and going through customs. We had plenty of time to wait for the plane, which got delayed about 40 minutes. We met the sweetest old lady at the gate. She was small and cute with her white hair. We helped her with the flight process - mostly Angie did. She was going to Toronto to see her son that she hadn't seen in 4 years.
Our plane had individual TVs. It was sweet. I watched Ocean's 13 and part of Surf's Up before we landed. I bought a bag of carrots and it was quite delicious. I wanted to play some games, but it wasn't available. It was a good flight. Time went by.
My brother hadn't left his house when we finished getting our bags and everything 'cause he thought my plane was delayed a lot, so Angie's family drove me home. They really didn't have to. I wouldn't have minded waiting. But it was great that they drove me home.
As soon as I got home, I ate dinner. It felt really good to eat homecookings again. I brought my suitcases up to my room and checked out my mail. My cat left me a surprise on my $1 garage sale, illegal chair. It had a dark stain with brown chunks on it. I hadn't realized until after I stood up. Afterwards, I pretty much passed out with my day clothes and makeup on. My bed had no sheets. It was a long day. It feels good to be home.
Over the next day or so, I'll start posting up the pictures I haven't uploaded yet.
