Greetings From New Brunswick

written 1:56 pm

I've been pretty blah about this whole thing. But I actually got a little sad the past couple of days. I got teary-eyed last night when I was eating dinner. I got teary-eyed today on the ride to the airport. It finally hit me that I'm not going to see this place for 8 months.

Last night, with no internet, I almost went to bed early. I lay down at 12 am-ish. Totally couldn't sleep. Which is normal for big trips. I ended up playing my NDS for 4 hours before feeling tired enough to sleep. (Side note: I'm addicted to playing Thrillville: Off The Rails at the moment.)

At the moment I'm sitting at the gate. The flight's at 3:15 pm. Actually, 3:19 pm - delayed for 4 minutes.

The game plan for the next few days:
- pay off the tuition and residence fees
- move into residence
- explore the town, get familiar with the place ... sort of

After the frantic-ness of the last few days to pack everything, I'm not actually a little nervous and anxious. Still, I'm so not looking forward to micro and macro economics.
