San Diego Day 1

We went to Fashion Valley Mall to eat lunch and shop before we headed to Street Scene. All I got was a shirt. We got to Street Scene around 5:30 pm in time for The Academy Is. Augustana, Jack's Mannequin, Panic! at the Disco, and Muse followed. Muse was incredibly good. As good as they ever were. The light show got more elaborate and Bellamy's guitaring got more crazy, especially with his fancy guitars with lovely and expensive Kaoss pads. The piano changed too. He now uses a Kawai baby grand with a plexiglass top with the piano lights built in so it lights up when he plays it. I loved it. Muse's performances always baffles me. Matt Bellamy is still my guitar hero.

PS. Bellamy dressed decently tonight. If you've seen his other shows or pictures, his sense of style is very questionable.
PPS. Of course, Dom had to have the last word as they walked off the stage after their encore. Pffft, silly Dom.
