San Diego Day 2
We ate cold leftovers for lunch and chilled in our hotel until 5:45ish pm before we left for Street Scene. We got there in time for Brand New at the Wrigley Stage, while I held seats at the Pacific Stage (main stage). I watched Louis XIV perform while Angie was bouncing to Brand New. They were alright. Not really my liking. We met up after. Arctic Monkeys played. Their set was pretty good. Too short, but it was rockin'. They did play the songs I wanted to hear so it was all good. The Killers closed the festival. Their stage setup had a lot of knick-knacks. Brandon Flowers likes shiny and sparkly things, yet his moustache makes him look dirty. The show wasn't bad. Of course, they played all their hits which made people go nuts. I kind of liked it. The show reminded me of vaudeville, which sort of fit since they're from Las Vegas.
There was this girl and her boyfriend beside us. They kept bumping into Angie even though they have 2 seats. Angie asked nicely if the girl could move over a little bit and she got angry saying how Angie didn't have to be rude. The girl was a hussy with no bra and probably a bit too much to drink. Angie almost got into a fight with her if the girl hadn't held back. Luckily, they moved off.
Tomorrow we return the car. I love the car. It's so new and drives nicely. My keychain will be so much lighter though. It'll be public transit for the rest of the trip. I'm sad.
Here are pictures from 0920 LA Day 3 (Melrose shopping, The Academy Is). It's not a lot, but it's something.
I was trying to upload 0921 LA to San Diego tonight but this Super 8 motel sucks and always breaks up the internet. We can't download or upload anything for more than 20 minutes. It completely sucks.
There are no pictures for September 22. We thought that no cameras were allowed, but ended up seeing hundreds of cameras during the show. I could've had pictures of Muse, damn it.
0923 San Diego Day 2 (Street Scene day 2) will follow when I can upload, which will probably be when I get home. Pictures of Louis XIV, Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers. More than 100 pictures were taken but only a select few were not blurry.
